The plan today was Nandos for tea. Sadly traffic on the way down to Sheffield put a stop to that.

We ended up getting a ‘cheeseburger’ from a ‘burger’ van. The burger was the thickness of a steak burger but it tasted more like bread than any meat I’ve experienced before. We grabbed a fries each when we got into the area, they were tiny. I wasn’t full but at least I’d eaten. I’ve overpointed it (theres no way that it was 8.5 points for the burger but I’d rather be sure).

Aftet what I ate at the end of last week and through the weekend (come on, it was my birthday) i was expecting a gain this week.  That was worst case.  Best case I was expecting to rescue the week with some very stringent point counting and roast dinners and stay the same.  I know I got on the scales on my birthday and was 3lb down and dead on 19st.  Whether or not that was a real weight is beside the point.  I saw it on the scales and recorded it to memory.

I’m happy to report that I weighed in at 19st 1lb today.  Technically a 2lb loss from my official weight last week, 1lb up on the 19st – which I can quite happily live with, if I lose another 2lb this week I’ll be under 19st.  Seeing an 18 on the side of the big number will be peculiar and I should imagine very uplifting.  It also means I’ll be sacrificing another ww point.  That’ll be fun ;( I’ll just have to up my activity at the gym to compensate.

I told myself I was going to go from 20st to 19st in the 6 weeks I had between that day I weighed myself in horror and my birthday.  I got on the scales yesterday and was 19st 3lb – dead on a 4st loss from the start.  I went to the gym last night and had a better day overall in terms of food (no indian starters) so I got on the scales this morning and I was 19st flat.  This makes me happy.

I won’t be losing weight next week.  Plan is to stay between 19st and 19st 3lb with the combination of some very low point days and gym visits.  Planning on the gym Friday, Sunday, Tuesday.  That should go someway to making up for the splurge I’m going to be having today and Saturday.  Cinema on Saturday.  Popcorn and pic ‘n’ mix ftw!

I’m happy.  I’m losing weight at a speed I’m comfortable with and I’m going to be buying XL t-shirts when we go to Florida.  Next target – lose another stone (get down to 18) before we go to Florida.  Thats 9 weeks.  Easy.

YouTube Doubler

Was doing really well until I stopped in at my mum and dads and had a couple of onion bhajis and a couple of chicken pakoras.  Don’t think the damage was all that great though.  I guestimated at a total of 15 points (it won’t be that high) and I have a reserve of 22 points I borrowed from that I’d saved from the last week including exercise points.  We’ll see what happens tomorrow morning.

Hoping to hit my 4st target tomorrow.
