Barry Butterfly

Keeping with tradition, this is Barry. He’s a butterfly.

Now this was taken on Friday at Chester Zoo whilst we were walking around the gardens – I didn’t use my macro as I didn’t have it at the time. I don’t think it came out too badly considering 🙂

  1. I find that the leaf or what ever it is to the left is distracting my eye away from the butterfly.

    Agree with groovy about the detail, but then again it wasn\'t a macro lens. Nice.

  2. There\'s nothing really in focus here which really detracts. The image needs sharpness really. Blurring can work really well on some shots but IMO this isn\'t one of them.
