One of a couple of Orang u tang pictures I took last time I went to the zoo, thought this pose was an absolute classic and for some reason reminded me of Captain Jack Sparrow – standing on the bow of the Black Pearl. Not sure if anyone else will see it in the same way but then again if everyone\’s mind worked in the same way as mine did we’d be in trouble 😉
Was a little disappointed with the colouring in this one, although the older Orang is more brown than orange this one isn’t meant to be quite this brown, didn’t use spot metering and the cloudy grey sky has thrown out the metering a bit I think. Oh well, its more of a comedy shot for me anyway.
