Abstract Trunk

Whilst we had loads of time by the elephants at Knowsley yesterday I decided I wanted to get some kind of abstract trunk shot. I’ve gotten a couple of in-focus shots with just the trunk and I might show them the light of day at some point but I quite like this one – even with the bottom part of the trunk out of shot, what does everyone else think?

Just a levels tweak, contrast boost and a sharpen on this one.

Shot in manual, at ISO 200, f/5 with a shutterspeed of 1/1250.

  • Camera: Canon EOS 30D
